ECS invited to take part in Sky TV Documentary

Pete McGowan, CEO, was interviewed, as a TCW client, on a range of topics from compliance, digital transformation, to the impact of Covid-19.

"We are proud to be able to support our social housing clients by bringing together compliance and technology to deliver 100% compliance."

Back in August, Pete McGowan, CEO of the ECS Group, was invited by a supplier TCW (The Compliance Workbook), to take part in a Sky Business Documentary focusing on ‘Procurement and Compliance in a Digital Age’.

As part of the programme, Pete was interviewed, as a TCW client, on a range of topics from compliance, digital transformation, to the impact of Covid-19.

The relationship between ECS and TCW

ECS adopted TCW (The Compliance Workbook) back in June 2019, to provide another layer of external, independent validation to our verification process by fully integrating TCW software with our own bespoke software system (ECMS).

Engineers now upload their draft certificates, they are checked by TCW software, which highlights any findings so that our QS’s can quickly identify any issues.

TCW is widely used by housing associations to check and validate certificates that are supplied by electrical contractors.

Today, it is guaranteed that all certificates from ECS will be passed through TCW software a second time without any issues, adding further value and assurance.

TCW software has helped streamline their quality assurance process, making it more efficient and meticulously accurate. Any issues that are identified during the sign off process can be reported and resolved rapidly.

“We are proud to be able to support our social housing clients by bringing together compliance and technology to deliver 100% compliance” reports Pete McGowan, CEO of the ECS Group.

ECS Ltd are grateful to Ryan Dempsey, CEO of TCW for asking them to be a part of their latest project.
